Al Ezz Steel announces the appointment of Simon Elliston as Group Finance Director

Al Ezz Steel Rebars S.A.E., the largest producer of steel in the Mena region and market leader in Egypt, is pleased to announce the appointment of Simon Elliston as Group Finance Director with immediate effect.

Simon, who will be based at Ezz Steel's UK office in Knightsbridge, joins from Citigroup where he held the position of Head of Infrastructure and Energy Finance for Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Ahmed Ezz, Chairman of ezzsteel, commenting on the appointment said:
"I am delighted that Simon has joined the ezzsteel group. He brings a wealth of experience in the financing of industrial companies which is particularly welcome in light of our current opportunities both in Egypt and internationally."
