Established in 2002, LOYAC aims to empower high-school and college students with the skills needed to grow into highly effective leaders by engaging them in leadership programs, self-reliance programs, and team work initiatives in cooperation with leading global companies in the private sector.

ExxonMobil Kuwait President, Dr. John Hoholick, said:
"Loyac is doing excellent work with the youth of Kuwait to build a future for Kuwait. We are very proud to be associated with such an organization."

ExxonMobil Kuwait has been a supporter of LOYAC activities and initiatives since 2006. In addition to this latest contribution, ExxonMobil has previously hosted interns at the company's offices in Houston, Texas, as well as locally in its office in Kuwait with a goal to continue to mentor and professionally engage LOYAC students.

LOYAC Vice Chairperson and Managing Director, Mrs. Fareah Al Saqqaf said, "We are very excited for the support extended to us by ExxonMobil. It is only through the continued assistance from such supportive organizations that we are able to keep on inspiring our youth to be tomorrow's leaders."

In 2007, ExxonMobil Corporation, its divisions and affiliates, and the ExxonMobil Foundation provided combined community investments of $174 million in cash, goods, and services worldwide. ExxonMobil's worldwide spending includes contributions to non-profit organizations as well as funds invested in social projects through various joint-venture arrangements, production-sharing agreements, projects operated by others, and contractual social bonus arrangements.
