Wella Professionals, international leader in professional hair-care, has launched its first professional training studio in the GCC.
Sacha Schuette, a leading international hair-stylist, inaugurated the opening. The Wella Professionals studio in Kuwait will provide hair dressers with a variety of training courses based on technical expertise, hair styles and cuts as well as inspirational hair designs.
Aspiring hair dressers can choose the level of education they require and tailor-make the courses to suit their unique needs.
"We believe that today's training is paramount to a successful future for hair dressers. Women in the GCC are savvier than ever before and constantly look towards international standards for their hair and beauty regimes. We aim to equip hair dressers with the education and expertise they need to cater to their customers' desires," said Fady Salwan, P&G Professional Care Division Manager.
Sacha Schuette, a globally renowned hair stylist, was also present at the launch. As a highly sought after session stylist, his work is a mix of naturalness and wearable extravagance. Sacha's skill was on display as he showcased a selection of trend interpretations. He also played an integral role in one of the first training seminars held at the new studio.
The launch of the Wella Professionals studio in Kuwait also unveiled the Trends collection for 2009. The collection of seasonal trends aims to inspire hair dressers around the world to provide their customers with cutting edge colour and style.
Every year, Wella Professionals inspires hairstylists to take their skills to the next level by unveiling cutting edge seasonal trends. For 2009 Wella Professionals unveiled their four new global trends - 'Utopia', 'De-Lush', 'Intersexion' and 'Virtual Life'.
While Utopia seeks to reflect simplicity in fashion and lifestyle, Intersexion is the trend for those who want to break free from clichés and convention. 'De-Lush', the most sensual trend of the year, embraces lusciousness while 'Virtual Reality' unleashes creativity to make a statement.
The Wella Professionals Studio will begin its training courses in January and is open to all hair dressers in the country and neighbouring region.
