The Kuwaiti pavilion at Interiors & Buildex 2009 is officially supported by the Public Authority for Industry (PAI) of the State of Kuwait. Established in January 1997, the PAI is an autonomous authority under the supervision of Kuwait's Minister of Commerce & Industry, and among its main functions are to develop and promote industrial activity within the state and to consolidate industrial cooperation with other GCC countries.
Sagar F. AL Enazi, Deputy General Manager for Export Development Centre of PAI, said:
"We look forward to our participation to Interiors & Buildex 2009 as it will enable us to introduce various types of high-quality products from Kuwait, which are highly suited for the requirements of the vibrant building and construction industry in Oman."
These products, which are all manufactured in Kuwait, include decorative frames, rolling shutters and rolling door systems, plastic pipes and fittings, flooring materials, wall products, water heaters, sanitary wares, switchboards and other electrical products. The Kuwaiti pavilion will also display a wide range of fiberglass products, textile furnishings, metal products, construction chemicals, stone materials and many other types of building materials and construction supplies.
The Kuwaiti companies that have already confirmed their participation at Interiors & Buildex 2009 include Ahlia Chemicals Company, Al Watani Factory for Fibreglass, Alaa Al Jazira General Trading & Contracting, Alusol Rolling Shutter Industries, Aspec Kuwait Company, Gulf Shores (Aquasan), Industrial Electrical Projects, Khaled Ali Al Kharafi & Brothers, Metal Products Company, National Industries Company, National Textiles Company, New Exhibition Company, Plastic Pipes & Fitting Factory, the Public Authority for Industry, and Top Rock Company.

All leading companies in Oman's building and construction industry will also be taking part in the event to further strengthen their presence in the local market.
Interiors & Buildex 2009 is supported by Windows 2000 as the platinum sponsor, Panorama and Dosteen Doors & Engineering Services LLC as the gold sponsors, and IQue as the silver sponsor.
