Dubai Women's College raises funds for Gaza

In response to the UAE Red Crescent's Gaza Campaign, Dubai Women's College (DWC) students and staff raised approximately 13000dhs and collected a total of 50 boxes of blankets, clothes and food donations.
Items collected included warm blankets, baby diapers, dry and canned food and clothes. Many students were involved in coordinating the DWC campaign including Mona Ali Sultan Al-Shamsi and other students from the Bachelor of Education Program who made "We are all Gaza" badges and sold them on Campus to raise funds for the campaign.
Red Crescent Authority is an organization that aims to provide aid and assistance to the needy, rescue the grieved and reliefs the victims. Gaza campaign was launched to aid Palestinians during the Israeli strikes on Gaza. The Gaza Campaign also plans to rebuild houses destroyed during the Israeli War on Gaza and to sponsor children who lost their parents during the attacks.
