Vodafone Egypt reports 32% increase in customers

UK-based telecoms operator Vodafone has reported a 32% increase in customer numbers at its Vodafone Egypt subsidiary, its largest business in the Middle East and North Africa, reported MEED. The company had 17.6 million Egyptian mobile phone customers at the end of 2008, up almost a third on the end of 2007.
