  • United Arab Emirates: Wednesday, February 04 - 2009 at 14:35
  • PRESS RELEASE

Emirates Post is highlighting employment opportunities available for UAE nationals by participating in Tawdheef UAE 2009, the third Abu Dhabi Recruitment Show, being held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) from February 3 to 5, 2009.

The Emirates Post stand allows Emirati jobseekers to submit their CVs or fill up application forms which will then be screened and evaluated by the Human Resources Department.

Ibrahim Bin Karam, CEO, Emirates Post, said:
"Emirates Post has consistently supported the national goal of increasing Emiratisation at all levels, and we have achieved a high degree of success in this respect."

"Yet, we feel more needs to be done to ensure that Emiratis are given first priority in recruitment. Our participation in this show will enable us to understand better the competencies and expectations of young Emiratis. It will also enable us to add to our database CVs of eligible persons for filling future vacancies," he added.

Emirates Post, a subsidiary of Emirates Post Holding, offers attractive opportunities for Emiratis, in different fields, with high growth prospects and excellent training facilities. The network of post offices will soon cross the 100 mark, and the number of new services offered through the post offices is growing every year. This is expected to create the need for more manpower in the immediate future.

The Abu Dhabi Recruitment Show attracts participation from government and semi-government organisations as well as private sector companies engaged in banking, construction, education, trading, hospitality, etc.
