Bahrain to host International Natural Health Products and Green Expo 2009

Bahrain Exhibition and Convention Authority will stage the first International Natural Health Products and Green Expo 2009 from the 5th to the 7th February 2009 in Hall 2 A of the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre (BIEC).

It will be held under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, The Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Bahrain Exhibition & Convention Authority (BECA) is the country's forerunner organisation with a mission of promoting Bahrain as the preferred business tourism destination in the Gulf. It functions under the directive of its Board of Directors with His Excellency Dr. Hassan A. Fakhro, the Minister of Industry & Commerce, as Chairman of the Board. The Authority also manages the operations of the Bahrain International Exhibition & Convention Centre (BIEC).

With a goal of promoting well-being and holistic lifestyle practices, BINHPGE is a joint venture between Bahrain Exhibition & Convention Authority (BECA) and Mind Body & Beyond LLC (USA), producer of the Mind Body & Beyond Expo, an event annually held in Los Angeles, California. It is the first time for Mind Body & Beyond LLC to make its foray into the global market by holding the inaugural BINHPGE 09 in Bahrain.

Bahrain International Natural Health Products & Green Expo 2009 will have 42 exhibitors from USA, Austria, UAE and the Kingdom of Bahrain. Show open times are from 10 am to 6 pm daily.

Mind Body & Beyond Expo attracts exhibitors from the natural health, spa and natural living industries and companies that are making a difference in people's lives by developing environmentally safe products. Its mission is to promote awareness and respect for healthy and good living by becoming a nexus for industry professionals to generate maximum exposure, gain networking opportunities and increase revenue sources.

Ms. Debbie Stanford-Kristiansen, Acting CEO of Bahrain Exhibition & Convention Authority, emphasises the need for Bahrain Exhibition & Convention Authority (BECA) to focus on the international markets in order to automatically raise awareness and create an excellent reputation for Bahrain in terms of quality events, an objective always sought by the Bahrain Government and the Ministry of Industry & Commerce.
