Princess Haya Award for Special Education: informational visits

A public information meeting was held at the Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC) before starting individual visits to all evolved Special Needs centers in Dubai in order to present the initiative of the Princess Haya Award for Special Education.

During the meeting, Mr. Mohammed Al Emadi, chairman of the Award executive committee, presented the initiative progress-line arriving at the current phase which introduced the initiative to the public. He also explained the categories, awards values, nomination standards for the Award and highlighted the importance of the Award in motivating people working with special needs individuals.

"The Princess Haya Award for Special Education is a turning point for the special education sector that aims to excel and set higher service standards in all special education fields,"


Al Emadi added.

Princess Haya Award for Special Education was launched on November to be the first initiative of its kind in the region. It targets the best models of the special needs sector in various categories according to high international standards. The initiative also aims to encourage people working in the special needs to excel and set higher service standards in all fields of special education.
