BinHendi Watches and Jewellery opens its largest multi-brand boutique at Dubai Mall
- United Arab Emirates: Thursday, February 05 - 2009 at 15:15
- PRESS RELEASE
Further to the success of the BinHendi Watches and Jewellery multi-brand boutique inaugurated in the Burj Al Arab in June 2008, the pioneering luxury retailer once again rises to new heights.
Boasting more than 250 square meters showcasing the finest, most innovative watch and jewellery brands available worldwide, the latest BinHendi Watches and Jewellery is the largest in the network.
Located next to the Jacob & Co boutique, with which it shares VIP private viewing rooms, the store is a unique addition to Dubai Mall's Watch and Jewellery area by virtue of its wealth of choice and the exclusiveness of its featured brands.
The crowning touch to the inviting boutique is undoubtedly the Ulysse Nardin shop-in-shop, the largest such concept in the Middle East. This renowned Swiss brand has a more than 160-year tradition of crafting the most sophisticated mechanical watches and marine chronometers. Its innovative timepieces are housed in a 48 square meter space punctuated by gilded portholes set in sleek, deep-hued wood, echoing the brand's time-honored heritage of chronometer design, while underscoring the technical mastery of its limited editions.
Beyond the Ulysse Nardin space, other brands in the diversified yet balanced BinHendi Watches and Jewellery selection include:
• Goldvish -- creators of the ultra-prestigious platinum full pavé mobile phone.
• Porsche Design Watches.
• Cecil Purnell -- the masters of the tourbillon, achieving a fine balance of tradition and innovation.
• Schreiner - a lyrical, emotional jewellery collection composed of the finest gems and pearls, exhibiting creativity worthy of the description "neo haute joaillerie."
• Welder - impressive yet classic, designed by Italo Fontana, featuring over-sized cases and bold contrasting colors.
• Graf von Faber Castell -- a range of extraordinary writing instruments and accessories, the embodiment of simplicity and luxury.
These names complement other treasured brands like Martin Braun, and innovators such as Tiret, De la cour and Nubeo.
The current BinHendi Watches and Jewellery opening is part of an ambitious development strategy by the BinHendi Watches and Jewellery Division. Yet another BinHendi Watches and Jewellery multi-brand boutique will open in Bahrain's City Center later this year.
The first Jacob & Co. mono-brand boutique in the Middle East, opened jointly in Dubai Mall with BinHendi Watches and Jewellery, will be complemented by a second regional boutique in Kuwait's 360 Degrees. Mono-brand boutiques are also planned for Ulysse Nardin and Goldvish in 2010.
Commenting on his hopes for the latest BinHendi Watches and Jewellery boutique in the context of this vigorous growth, Haissam Chamsine, Senior Vice President of Watches, Jewellery and Accessories, said "We are delighted to have such a unique multi-brand store within the prestigious Dubai Mall, located in the most exclusive square km on the planet. Our expectations are high once the full project is 100% operational."
