Qatari Business Women Forum announces Corporate Ambassador Program sponsors

The Qatari Business Women Forum has announced the sponsors of the Corporate Ambassador Program which will be held under the patronage and presence of H.E. Sheikh Fahad Bin Jassim Bin Mohammad Al-Thani, Minister of Business & Trade, on February 10th and 11th at the Sheraton Doha Hotel titled "SMEs: Engines for Economic Growth."
The Sponsors of the Corporate Ambassador Program are Commercial bank of Qatar, Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB), Jaguar of Alfardan Premier Motors, Aamal and The Pearl Qatar UDC's flagship project.
Commercialbank is the leading private sector and second largest commercial bank in Qatar by total assets and shareholders equity. It now ranks among the top 20 Arab banks by capital strength. The Bank has a growing GCC regional presence, through its affiliated banks, National Bank of Oman, the second largest bank in Oman, and United Arab Bank in the UAE.

The Corporate Ambassador event will run from February 10th through 11th and offer two panel discussions, three workshops, and a study tour featuring three senior executives from the United States. These professional consultants will offer their opinions and share their experiences regarding the challenges and opportunities of the global financial crisis, resource development and growth, operational effectiveness, fundraising and creating effective business plans. They have over 60 years of combined experience as CEOs and strategic consultants to entrepreneurs and emerging businesses and have varied professional experience as strategists, policymakers, negotiators and team builders and knowledge of the formation and enhancement of results-oriented skills in the local, regional and global markets.
This Corporate Ambassador Program is a component of the Middle East North Africa (Mena) Businesswomen's Network, of which the Qatari Businesswomen Forum is a founding member, and is presented in coordination with the U.S. State Department's Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI) and Vital Voices Global Partnership.

About the QBWF:Qatari Businesswomen Forum was established in year 2000 to enhance women's contribution to the economic activity which constitutes a real gain both to Qatari women and the society at large; and to assist Qatari businesswomen to understand business and economic laws and upgrade their skills and capabilities to help strengthen their role in the process of overall economic development.
