Abu Dhabi Al Emarat launches 'Inside the National' show

Abu Dhabi Al Emarat, one of Abu Dhabi Media Company's TV stations, has launched 'Inside the National', the first TV show in the region to be broadcast from the newsroom of a newspaper.
Viewers of Abu Dhabi Al Emarat TV will now have exclusive access to news and analysis of the stories making the headlines around the world, every Sunday to Thursday at 19:30 before the National hits newsstands the following day.
Martin Newland, Editor in Chief of The National commented, "The National has established itself as a quality, must-read newspaper and now, through the UAE's first truly converged newsroom, we are able to bring Abu Dhabi's world-class newsroom to our discerning viewers."
Presenter, Crispin Thorold said, "The National has transformed newspaper journalism in the Middle East and 'Inside the National' is set to do the same for TV journalism. More than just a newspaper review show, our aim is to go beyond the headlines and share insights from some of the best journalists ever assembled in the UAE on stories breaking around the world."
Executive Producer Matthew Sansom added, "'Inside the National' really captures the dynamism of a newspaper's newsroom like no other TV show in the region. This is a chance for viewers to get to know the faces behind some of the biggest stories shaping our lives in the modern era and get involved in the intelligent dialogue we want to spark in the Middle East and across the world."
