Italian casual men's fashion boutique launched on The Pearl-Qatar

United Fashion Company (UFC), a United Development Company subsidiary, introduces its third brand in a series of new stores to open on The Pearl-Qatar.

Harmont & Blaine, designers for the casual gentleman, opened on Saturday (February 7) with the spectacular arrival of Spanish Jet Ski record holder Alvaro de Marichalar y Saenz de Tejada, to be witnessed by local and international press.

Malik Awan, UFC General Manager, said:

Harmont & Blaine, founded in 1995, rated as one of the ten most successful growth companies in Italy, has boutiques in some 50 countries throughout the world and specializes in casual menswear.

Harmont & Blaine and UFC have signed an exclusive agreement for the development of the Italian fashion brand in Qatar, planning a strong expansion in the Middle East region.

"It was essential to have in Qatar a powerful partner to enter one of the most solid and growing economies in the region and we found it in UFC," said Menniti. "We find that Porto Arabia with its Mediterranean atmosphere in a Middle East setting is something which gives meaning to the lifestyle we aspire to."

Harmont & Blaine, a Milan-based company, already has stores in Milano, Miami, Capri, Hangzhou, Firenze, Mexico City, Southampton, New York, Portofino, Monterrey, Athens, Kuwait City, Dubai, Cairo and Santo Domingo.
