This allows Arabian Travel Market organiser, Reed Travel Exhibitions, to make recommendations to visitors on the key exhibitors they should meet, the seminars they should attend and other areas of interest to maximise their efficiency in the run-up to and at the event.
And, exhibitors who sign up early will have access to their own dedicated mini-portal, where the can post company profiles, news and featured products as well as invite potential partners to their stands.
Mark Walsh, Group Exhibition Director, Reed Travel Exhibitions, was keen to stress the importance of utilising the show's services in advance to maximise time and efficiency, especially given the strenuous economic climate.
He said:
"Now more than ever we need to see an industry-wide solution to the challenges presented by the wider global economy. The Arabian Travel Market in Dubai presents the ideal opportunity for pro-active industry players to meet, conduct business and hold talks."
"Our online portal starts that process even before the actual event by linking up potential visitors and exhibitors to increase better business understanding and foster improved interaction prior to and at Arabian Travel Market, therefore increasing the continued success and productivity of the event throughout the year," he added.
For 2009's show, which is being held at Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre in the United Arab Emirates, organisers are aiming to attract many more new destinations and innovative tourism products and service providers to offer visitors with enhanced emerging business opportunities.
To better serve this purpose, Reed Travel Exhibitions recently confirmed that it would expand its Hosted Buyers programme to 150 top international, first time participants for 2009 - up from 120 last year.
And the UK-based company also confirmed that other initiatives will take centre stage in 2009, including an expanded seminar programme, Careers Day - which will enable meetings between exhibitors and public with a keen interest in working within the industry or developing an existing career - and Travel Agents Day - which is designed to foster the latest top-class travel and tourism education among travel agents.
Arabian Travel Market is held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, Ruler of Dubai, and under the auspices of the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing, Government of Dubai.
