Gulf Business Machines recognised as first Cisco Video Surveillance partner in GCC

The ATP programme is an exclusive 'invitation only' programme from Cisco. This designation acknowledges GBM of having fulfilled the training requirements and programme prerequisites to design, resell, install, and maintain a full range of video surveillance solutions.

As a Cisco Gold partner and Video Surveillance ATP, GBM is now well-positioned to offer clients powerful 'new generation' video surveillance and physical solutions based on open platform IT software and industry standard IP communications.

The Video Surveillance programme is intended to drive revenues for an initial base of experienced physical security resellers and systems integrators who have a physical security practice (video surveillance and access control as a minimum) together with a common vision of physical security converging with the IP network.

GBM has also been recognized as a Cisco Outdoor Wireless Mesh Authorised Technology Provider (OWM-ATP) as of December 2008. Outdoor Wireless Mesh is a new technology solution that addresses an evolving market, specifically municipal WiFi. With wireless mesh technology, government, public safety, and transportation organizations can build cost-effective outdoor wireless networks for private or public use.
