Du introduces new option to reduce international calling costs significantly

For the very first time in the UAE, a Du Pay as you Go customer can now use a recharge card and receive extra credit instantly as credit to be used towards international calling.

This is 'more international'; the launch of an additional recharge option from Du. It is a significant milestone in the evolution of mobile telephony in the UAE as a result of which a Du mobile customer will be able to significantly reduce his or her international calling costs.

The 'more international' credits will have to be used up within specified validity periods and is applicable for both consumer and business customers.

This will be over and above the existing 'more credit' and 'more time' options already available on the WoW recharge card.

It is destined to be highly popular with our prepaid customers," Faraidooni added.

The entire 'more international' credit can only be utilized for international voice calls. Customers will need to separately recharge their 'more time' or 'more credit' accounts for other types of usage.

To benefit from 'more international', Du customers need to dial *138* followed by the card number, followed by the # key and then press the call key.

The WoW more international recharge card will be available through all 27 Du shops and over 3000+ partner outlets across the emirates.

About Du:

Du, the integrated telecom service provider in the UAE, was awarded the second license to operate fixed and mobile telecommunications services in February 2006. The company launched its 'Du' brand in the same month and listed 20% of its shares on the Dubai Financial Market in April 2006.
