The Tiger Woods Dubai appoints Patrick Bowers as General Manager of Al Ruwaya Golf Club

The Tiger Woods Dubai, an exclusive 55 million sq ft golf community development and a member of Tatweer Dubai, today announced the appointment of Patrick Bowers as General Manager of the Al Ruwaya Golf Club.

In his new role, Bowers will manage all aspects of the Al Ruwaya Golf Club, including its pre-opening, clubhouse operations, golf course operations, membership programme and major golf tournament procurement.

A highly respected veteran within the golfing industry, Patrick Bowers brings 20 years of international operating experience to The Tiger Woods Dubai. Bowers will lead a team of dedicated professionals on behalf of the IMG Golf Course Management that has been mandated to operate the Al Ruwaya Golf Club.

Patrick Bowers comes to The Tiger Woods Dubai after a successful term as Vice President - Golf with the Dubai Event Management Corporation. His latest appointment with the Al Ruwaya Golf Course marks his second tenure with IMG, having earlier spent eight years as Vice-President - Golf Course Services, responsible for the global golf club management business.

Bowers was instrumental in IMG's original landing of the management contract for managing the Al Ruwaya Club.

Leveraging my experience, I will work towards achieving the vision for the Al Ruwaya Golf Club and provide a unique and ambitious golfing experience in a sophisticated and world class environment."

Al Ruwaya, the world's first golf course to be designed by Tiger Woods Design, will be a 7,800 yard, par 72, 18-hole championship course, providing a strategic and dramatic test for golf players of all skill levels. Six tees on each hole will offer a variety of length and challenge for avid golfers. Featuring dramatic elevation changes, lush landscaping, and stunning water elements, Al Ruwaya will create an aesthetic experience unlike any other in the region.
