The dealership was also recognised for its exceptional performance and achievements in customer satisfaction during the same period.

Al Tayer Motors, together with its Abu Dhabi & Al Ain subsidiary, Premier Motors, has registered a 35% growth during 2008 and increased its volume ten-fold since 2002. Today, Al Tayer Motors is the second largest Ford dealer in the Middle East.

Waldo Galan, Ford Middle East's Managing Director, said:
"This is an outstanding achievement that deserves to be honoured. It is evident that Al Tayer Motors' passion for the business and commitment to customer satisfaction is fuelling its progress on the way to become the Middle East's top Ford dealer. The company's vision, dedication and enthusiasm for Ford, Lincoln and Mercury products has made Ford a serious contender on the UAE automotive scene."

Al Tayer Motors' CEO Ashok Khanna, said, "Together with Ford, we continue to scale greater heights not only in growing our customer base, but also in delivering world-class after-sales service that has become the benchmark that our customers have come to expect from us."

"This achievement reflects the dedication of our employees whose efforts continue to provide some of the best ownership experiences for Ford, Lincoln and Mercury products. Additionally, this success would not have been possible without the trust and confidence our customers have placed in our dealership, as well as in the outstanding Ford products we offer," Khanna added.

On the customer service side, the dealership won first place in the Middle East in its efforts to deliver genuine Ford and MotorCraft parts to its customers. Al Tayer Motors was also recognised as the regional runner-up in the Ford Customer Satisfaction Challenge for its efforts in taking customer satisfaction levels to new heights.

"The Al Tayer Motors service team has been consistent in demonstrating its commitment to customer satisfaction year after year," said Chris Noel, Ford Middle East's Director of Customer Service. "The service team's focus on the business is evident with various achievements in delivering original parts, service excellence as well as competent technical support. Thanks to the team's training and development efforts and other customer satisfaction initiatives, it has succeeded in setting high standards for the Ford after-sales experience in the UAE."

Over the past seven years, Al Tayer Motors set up eight Ford, Lincoln and Mercury dealership facilities and plans are underway to commence work on three more in the Northern Emirates during 2009.
