Umniah and Al-Aryan launch 'Call Egypt' offer

In the interest of accommodating Jordan's growing cosmopolitan community's telecommunications needs, Umniah, Jordan's pioneering provider of telecommunications services, and its authorized dealer, Al-Aryan, signed an agreement with the Egyptian Community Club in Jordan, marking the launch of Umniah's new "Call Egypt" offer.

Umniah's Director of Marketing, Mr. Omar Omoush, the Chairman of the Board of Al-Aryan, Mr. Waleed Al-Aryan, and the President of the Egyptian Community Club, Mr. Taher AL-Hussainy signed the agreement in a celebrating ceremony at the Egyptian Community Club in the Gardens, on February 9, 2009. Present were also the Egyptian Consul H.E, Mr. Wael Al-Mughrabi, representatives from Umniah and Al-Aryan, and the management of the Egyptian Community Club.

Commenting on this, Umniah's Director of Marketing, Mr. Omar Omoush, said: "this unprecedented offer, with its exceptional services and competitive prices, is one of the many initiatives we, at Umniah, hope to implement in accordance with our strategy for 2009. Umniah provides different choices to its subscribers to cater for their different needs, aiming to expand its client's base through these exceptional offers".

Umniah's unique "Call Egypt" offer is tailored to meet the needs of Egyptian expatriates in Jordan, providing them with reduced tariffs for their homeland, so they can now call Egypt for as little as 10 piasters a minute, and a free monthly international SMS bundle to Egypt.

Mr. Omoush also added:
"Our offers do strike a balance between creativity and competitive prices that fit the customers' financial means. "Call Egypt" will contribute to strengthening ties between Umniah and the Egyptian community. We are confident that our many anticipated distinguished offers will continue to satisfy Umniah's subscribers from different social and demographic segments."
