UAE Ministry of Economy readies for fourth Gulf Consumer Protection Day on March 1

The UAE Ministry of Economy, today, discussed the preparations for the fourth Gulf Consumer Protection Day, with representatives from the private and public sectors.
The meeting highlighted the achievements of the Consumer Protection Department at the Ministry of Economy and its efforts in protecting the rights of consumers in the UAE.
The participants suggested various activities and events that should be included during the fourth Gulf Consumer Protection Day. The retail outlets promised to sell 272 kinds of commodities at cost price on March 1.
Dr Hashem Al Nuaimi, Director of Consumer Protection Department said the meeting highlights the commitment of the Ministry of Economy to work with various stakeholders and share thoughts and experiences with them to support consumer protection rights in the UAE.
