Mena Telecom showcases WiMAX products at Meftec 2009

Mena Telecom, an investment subsidiary of Kuwait Finance House - Bahrain, concluded a successful participation in Meftec 2009, the Middle East's premier technology services event which took place in Bahrain from the 10-11 February, 2009.

As the opening of Meftec was officially announced and guests started flowing into the exhibition, Mena Telecom's booth attracted an impressive array of top-notch figures from the financial community, starting with H.E. Rasheed Al-Miraj, Governor of the Central Bank of Bahrain and Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa, Director of the General Organisation for Social Insurance (GOSI), visited Mena Telecom's booth and emphasized on the importance of Mena Telecom's participation in Meftec, and had the chance to hear about the its range of innovative products and services.

Meftec visitors had the opportunity to test various WiMAX stations where customers were invited to experience browsing the web and playing the latest online games using this cutting edge technology

commented Abdul Razak Jawahery, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Mena Telecom and an Executive Manager at Kuwait Finance House - Bahrain.
