  • United Arab Emirates: Wednesday, February 11 - 2009 at 16:00
  • PRESS RELEASE

Orascom Telecom's Arabic online search engine, Onkosh.com, recently launched its world-quality news search feature, which specializes in aggregating all the recent news titles from across the various Arabic news sources.

The service makes it possible for users to stay up-to-date with the latest news, since all articles published appear on onkosh.com within a few minutes from being released.

This new search category is designed to make the news easy to navigate and search, and enables article grouping.

Additionally, the news search enables a better overview option where articles are classified by topic, such as top news, sports, economics, health etc.)

The top 10 topics and news Onkosh.com users are looking for are: Egypt, Somalia's Pirates, Preparatory school results, Ghaza, Ahmed El Mohamady (Blackburn), Layla Ghofran, Amr Diab, Elissa, Al Ahly.

The Bel3araby feature, released in 2007, which enables users to type in their Arabic queries using Latin letters, makes it an even easier and more efficient Arabic search engine to use.
