As the official education partner, the SAE Institute had assisted all competing schools in the production of their two-minute movies by offering state-of-the-art equipment that guarantee the highest technical quality. In addition, SAE provided participants in the UAE, Jordan and Kuwait, with special access to its world class post-production facilities for finalizing their works of art.
The second edition of the competition received more than 200 short movie submissions from the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt and Kuwait. Representatives from almost 30 film schools and universities across the UAE and the Middle East participated in the competition. Marco Bettelli, Director of International Business Development, SAE Group, said:

As educators, we are closely involved in nurturing talent in the creative media environment. This competition has clearly demonstrated that the Middle East is brimming with young talent that is set to captivate a far wider audience in the years to come.
