Towell Auto Centre employees thrill Muscat Half Marathon 2009

A team comprising 21 employees from Towell Auto Centre (TAC) took part in the recently held Muscat Half Marathon 2009.

Muscat Marathon is the nation's oldest road race established 15 years ago with an objective to promote and encourage physical health.

The race has attracted a unique mix of runners both male and female, from different age groups and walks of life.

The Marathon took off amid great athletic participation that included various competitions like the 21km and 10km races, in addition to the 3km fun race for families and the differently able.

Annurag Chawla, Head of Marketing and Communications, Towell Auto Centre (TAC), says:

TAC has always been supportive of events that stand for a good cause. And their participation in the Muscat Half Marathon 2009, which helps raise awareness and funds for the Oman Diabetics Association is no different. Their team's taking part in the Marathon is an insight into the time and effort TAC devotes to events of such magnitude and also helps foster young talent.
