The event attracted both high-profile personalities and some of the best golfers of Abu Dhabi to provide what was a fiercely competitive field.

The winners, Paul Looker and Kevin Ross, who scored 38 Stableford points in the Greensomes pairs format tournament, will proceed to the Regional quattro Cup Final that will be held later this year.

This will ultimately give them the opportunity to qualify for the World Final. Second place was husband and wife team Cathy and Jeff Feron with 37 points.

Andrew Hellyar, Audi Abu Dhabi Brand Manager, commented:
"Golf is a great platform for allowing many of our customers and business partners to get to know each other and build their business networks."

"It gives us a great opportunity to showcase our latest models, including the recently launched Audi RS 6 and Audi S5, and to fully engage our customers and business partners in the Audi brand," he said.

Audi Abu Dhabi is hoping to increase their involvement with golf in the capital city throughout 2009. In 2008 Audi dealers from 52 different countries worldwide organised a total of 750 tournaments and over 86,000 amateur golfers participated at an Audi quattro Cup tournament.
