CNS launches extensive ICT service product range

  • United Arab Emirates: Monday, February 16 - 2009 at 11:40
  • PRESS RELEASE

After over one year of service product development and service delivery organization investment CNS is announcing the systematic launch of what it claims to be the most comprehensive branded ICT services product range in the Middle East.

The portfolio consists of a family of services that fully complement each other and address the complete technology lifespan from concept to retirement:
- Engage CNS: an Advisory & Professional Services solution
- Leverage CNS: a Managed Services solution
- Advantage CNS: a Support Services solution

THE CNS STORY

"Our decision in 2008 to develop our services range and drive our delivery capability could not have come at a better time for our customers. With everybody looking hard at their ICT budgets there is an urgent need to re-engineer their help desks, support organizations and technical services departments to save money. The result is that many in-house ICT departments are going to have to find ways of off loading any work that is not added value or is repetitive and repeatable, to enable them to focus on their core competence to address the bigger issues that they will face in the next year or two. The challenge to do more with less will be a question of simple survival for many".

says Brian Perrins, the ex Sun Microsystems Regional Services Director and now Senior Marketing Manager at CNS.

CNS invested heavily in its services organization and recruited many senior managers from the industry with extensive service management backgrounds to create, develop and manage the services portfolio that will enable any enterprise in the UAE to leverage the service products. CNS intends to make its services available to both existing customers and also those that are new to CNS.

"We are already running workshops with many customers as part of a discovery process to define the quick wins and to get some initial benefit realized for them" adds Perrins, "the time to review the options is now. The implementation period for some services is relatively short for some products such as Multi Vendor Support and long for others such as Managed Security".

The services will be formally released during January/February/March 2009 in to targeted vertical markets including Banking, Federal & Local Government, Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, Healthcare and Transportation.
