Shaam E Sangeet, "Evening full of Melodies" was also part of Etihad's latest sponsorships that cater to the Indian community in Kuwait. The star of the evening was Mrs. Hema Sardesai, a famous play back singer of Bollywood. The event which was a musical night comprised of classic and modern Indian arts witnessed 300 and more people.

The national airline of the United Arab Emirates also showcased its ongoing commitment to the Indian community's integral social fabric by further sponsoring the Kuwait Kannada Koota, a non profit association that is affiliated with the Indian embassy in Kuwait as well as the Kuwait Calicut Muslim Association, an organization which focuses on social work for the improvement of people with deteriorated economic backgrounds in Calicut, India. Both events, which catered to South Indians, featured Etihad Airways holding a draw for several tickets for people to fly to South India.
Etihad Airways currently flies to the Indian Subcontinent's cities which include Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Calicut, Cochin, and Trivandrum via Abu Dhabi.
"Part of our ongoing support to the diverse communities in Kuwait, we support the promotion of various communities' cultures, and sponsor cultural and sporting events that are consistent with our values of hospitality, team spirit and helping bring the world together," concluded Labib.
