- United Arab Emirates: Wednesday, February 18 - 2009 at 08:26
Dubai's Real Estate Regulatory Authority (Rera) plans to issue new regulations in March that will clarify the responsibilities of homeowners' associations, which will be governed by the individual homes within a housing community, reported The National. Once these regulations are enacted, Rera will begin to register the associations over a six-month period, handing them the power to decide how the common areas of housing communities are managed and how much it will cost homeowners to maintain them.
