Three innovative appliances presented by DITO Electrolux at the Gulfood 2009 trade fair in Dubai

The French company will particularly be highlighting three novelties: the TRS vegetable slicer, the TRK combined vegetable slicer with cutter-mixer and the B3000 Bermixer hand-held mixer.

Using the TRS vegetable slicer, one can process fruit and vegetable by slicing, chopping, dicing, or making chips or julienne. There are over 70 kinds of cuts available. The stainless steel feed hopper is dishwasher safe.

The TRK combined vegetable slicer with cutter-mixer is a multipurpose appliance with which one can prepare a complete meal, from starters to dessert. The vegetable cutter has all of the TRS range functionalities. The cutter-mixer can cut, mince, grind, knead and blend ingredients. Sauces and creams are smoothed thanks to the variable 300 to 3,300 rpm speed and the pulse function. An integrated scraper avoids having to remove food residue from the tank's sides. A touch-sensitive, waterproof control panel clearly indicates what speed to select, according to which accessory is being used. There are three available capacities: 4.5, 5.5 or 7 litres.

The B3000 Bermixer hand-held mixer provides power, operating stability and ease of use to beat, emulsify, blend and whip preparations. The handle's ergonomic shape provides true comfort when using. The whip version may be used in containers of up to 150 litres in capacity, and the mixer version up to 250 litres. A patented air-cooling system prevents the motor from overheating during long periods of use. The appliance also features an anti-projection system. The stainless steel tube, shaft and blade are all fully removable, without any tool, for easy cleaning in dishwasher.

Those three appliances are easy to use. The stainless steel structure guarantees a long operational life. As for safety, there are multiple devices to protect the operator, shutting down the appliance in case of inappropriate use.

The three products complete the wide range already marketed by DITO Electrolux. One can also mention the planetary mixers, peeling machines, vegetable washers, dough kneaders, dough sheeters etc.

DITO Electrolux won the "Janus de l'Industrie" award 2007 for its TRS / TRK, thanks to their design and 60% recyclability.
