Arabian Automobiles displays the award-winning Nissan GT-R supercar in its Deira showroom

The GT-R is now on display at the company's Deira showroom marking the arrival of this multi-dimensional performance machine that is defined by its maker as 'an ultimate supercar for anyone, anywhere, at anytime'.

Commenting on the display, Michel Ayat, CEO of Arabian Automobiles said, "The GT-R is truly a worthy showcase for Nissan's engineering expertise and I'm delighted to confirm that Arabian Automobiles has been designated as a Nissan High Performance Center (NHPC) meaning a select number of our master technicians have met the rigorous training standards qualifying them to service and maintain this technologically advanced product."

The GT-R has generated massive buzz among automotive enthusiasts since it was first revealed to the public at the Tokyo Motor Show in late 2007. It is currently both Motor Trend and Automobile magazine's 2009 Car of the Year.

The GT-R is powered by an all-new 3.8-litre twin turbo V6 engine, mating great horsepower (485 PS), a wide torque spread (maximum torque 60kgm), good fuel economy and low emissions. New internal engine technology includes plasma coated cylinder bores to improve cooling efficiency and boost both power and economy. The GT-R also features the world's first application of an independent transaxle 4WD system that continuously adjusts engine torque front-to-rear (and vice versa) depending on dynamic needs and road conditions.

A new six-speed paddle shift dual-clutch gearbox features an exceedingly quick gearshift time plus fully automatic function for ease of driving. The aerodynamic body has a drag coefficient of just 0.27 Cd using lightweight steel, carbon fiber and die cast aluminium construction making it one of the world's slickest cars. Large diameter Brembo drilled and ventilated disc brakes and Brembo opposed monoblock calipers offer immense stopping power. Dampers, gear shift and VDC-R (Vehicle Dynamic Control) are all manually adjustable, by simple switches on the dashboard.

The GT-R includes a multi functional instrument display, designed by the same company that produced the graphics for the Sony PlayStation GT5 Prologue video game. A meter in the instrument panel displays both lateral (acceleration and braking) and transverse (cornering) g-forces.

The Nissan GT-R's unique characteristics are instilled not just in the vehicle's design, but also through a specialized production process. Carbon fiber, aluminium and steel components are assembled with a special high-precision process which includes a series of vibration tests. Engines and transmissions are assembled by a single craftsman in a 'clean room' environment and upon completion every GT-R undergoes a series of comprehensive tests to ensure the proper operation of all vehicle components.

To properly support the GT-R, Nissan has established special Nissan High Performance Centers (NHPC), where all certified advisors and technicians have received extensive training. Total support for the GT-R owner is offered for the first three years of ownership, including measurement and adjustment of the engine, transmission and wheel alignment after the first 1000 km, and again every 12 months.

Such is the highly specialist nature of the GT-R that Arabian Automobiles has also assigned a certified salesmen who has been trained to explain the technical attributes of the GT-R to prospective customers. The company is currently operating a limited time offer of the first year's insurance and 60,000kms of servicing included in the GT-R's total price value.

The GT-R has its own dedicated area of Arabian Automobiles' Deira showroom where customers or just curious browsers can inspect and learn more about the vehicle whilst a special GT-R branded merchandising collection is also on display.
