The Art Olympiad which recognizes the outstanding creative talents of students got an overwhelming response from the 16 participating schools.
The winners were selected by a special jury headed by Mr. Assad Bunashi - a famous Kuwaiti artist, Mr. Mohammed Hafiz, General Manager and Creative Officer, Pulse DDB, Ms. Hiba Farhat Creative Director, Pulse DDB and senior office bearers from Landmark Group and Gulf Bank. The students were judged on the basis of Creativity, Workmanship, Overall impression and Relevance to the Theme. The paintings of the young talented artists offered the judges to choose the best of the best.
Mr. Sumit Gue, General Manager of Centrepoint said,
"We had a very enthusiastic response from all the schools. Through their artwork, the children demonstrated enormous creativity, skills, thoughtfulness and concern on the themes that they believed in. The Olympiad once again proved to be a great accomplishment. I would like to thank Gulf Bank our main sponsor and our esteemed panel of judges who have helped make this event bigger and better".

Each of the 15 winners were awarded with a number of exciting grand prizes including Laptops, Camcoder, Playstations and many other valuable gifts. The winners received certificates and trophies and their schools were given a plaque of appreciation. All students who participated in the Olympiad were provided with gifts hampers
This initiative is a part of Centrepoint's ongoing corporate social responsibility program which intends to provide a grooming platform to the future citizens of the world by helping them to improvise their flair and encourage their innovative ability through art. As always Centrepoint is keen on maintaining an excellent rapport and creating awareness about relevant issues among the youth with constant activities and events.
