Etisalat inks deal with FC Barcelona

Etisalat on Wednesday announced a partnership agreement with leading European football club FC Barcelona. Under the four-year partnership agreement, Etisalat and its international subsidiaries can stake a claim to being the 'official international telecom partner of Barcelona' in their respective countries. Besides advertising and branding rights, Etisalat will also organise two international football matches in coordination with the club at locations of its choice, against nominated teams. This opens the possibility of bringing the team to the UAE, a statement from Etisalat said.
