Alfa boosts its Active prepaid services

Alfa, the mobile operator, announced that it has been working on a series of enhancements relevant to the Active prepaid lines, allowing all prepaid subscribers to enjoy a more flexible and advantageous system.

Now, with the first bunch of enhancements that will be launched on February 16, Alfa Active users will not loose their credit anymore when they enter the five-day grace period. During the grace-period, they will be able to receive calls and SMSs as usual and they will regain all their remaining credit which usage was suspended during the grace period as soon as the line is recharged.

In addition to the new option of credit preservation, Alfa Active users can now use all their credit before the end of the validity period without entering automatically the grace period as it was the case before. Therefore, their line will remain active and they will still receive calls until the end of the validity time. This way, they will be given the opportunity to manage their credits while benefiting from enough time to recharge.

Mr. Samer Salameh, Chairman and CEO of Alfa, confirmed that:
"Whenever the opportunity is there, Alfa is keen to deliver beneficial services to its subscribers."

He added, "Alfa has recently launched an extensive improvement process, including the latest announced credit and validity enhancements, allowing Active users to flexibly and timely manage their line."
