A group of 22 students from the University of Lugano, Switzerland, gained valuable knowledge on the significant role Coral Hotels & Resorts has been playing in Dubai's growing hospitality industry.

At a function hosted by Coral Deira, Wael Elbehi, Regional Sales Director, Hospitality Management Holdings (HMH), held a special presentation for the students of International Tourism on how Dubai in particular, and the UAE in general, has grown into one of the Middle East's leading leisure and business destinations.

At the same time he highlighted the phenomenal growth of Coral Hotels & Resorts focusing on the group's unique facilities and services. Wael also outlined the company's business development strategy and upcoming promotions for the region and beyond.

An open forum was held at the end where issues ranging from global trends in tourism to future challenges facing the industry were raised and discussed. The students actively participated in the discussions.

The educational trip is an annual event organised by the University of Lugano for the students to get a deep understanding of the cultural heritage of different countries and how they are developing their tourism and hospitality infrastructure.
