Stosur and Stubbs gave tennis lessons to the children from both centres showing them how to make a perfect serve and even win a match point.

Thrilled to meet the duo, the children eagerly waited for their turn with the tennis stars.

"This is the second year Barclays has sponsored the tennis clinic for special needs children at the BDTC. We are very grateful to e-sports for their help in organising this event and ecstatic to have Samantha and Rennae onboard to interact with the children and give them the opportunity to enjoy a memorable fun day out and learn about tennis."

said Michael Miebach, Managing Director of Barclays Global Retail and Commercial Banking in the Middle East and North Africa.

Miebach also cited that Barclays interacts with special needs children through several projects on an annual basis, and that Barclays staff regularly volunteer at the special needs centres.

The Dubai Centre for Special Needs and the Future Centre are both non-profit organisations that seek to improve the quality of life for children with special needs. The centres promote the children's independence, productivity, inclusion, empowerment and social participation so they can lead fulfilling lives.
