The stylish compact Fiesta made its regional debut in November, and the new model was the star of the Ford stand at the Abu Dhabi International Motorshow, triggering positive customer feedback and demand at first sight.
Waldo Galan, Managing Director of Ford Middle East, said:
"Fiesta has proved to be a runaway success in Europe since it first came out of the plant. In fact it's been the best selling car in the UK since November 2008. With its dynamic design characteristics and German craftsmanship, this model is true to the Ford quality drive and adds to the progressive spirit that our new models have been adding to the brand across the range. The Fiesta exemplifies our smart, safe, quality and green initiatives in this new generation of passenger cars."
He added, "From front to rear, the all-new Fiesta exudes presence and individuality. With its rich array of features that would normally be found in larger cars, the new Fiesta sets the benchmark for its class, and we believe it will hit the right mark with the youth here in the UAE. While the special edition models add further character with their customized exterior looks, Fiesta promises to stand out just the same across the range thanks to its exceptional interior, driving dynamics and athletic stance which spans the entire range."
The new Fiesta is made in Germany, featuring Ford's kinetic design philosophy, which was first unveiled on the new mid-size Mondeo, then the smaller Focus. Charismatic and individual, the new model makes major strides in craftsmanship, quality of materials and product choice while continuing to represent Fiesta's traditional strengths of practicality, value for money, agility and safety. Its stylish and dynamic flair combines with all the traditional Ford small car strengths to create a confident, contemporary introduction to the next chapter of the Fiesta success story.
