Info2cell.com to launch new SMS/MMS service providing updates on Obama presidency

Info2cell.com, the leading Mobile Service Application provider in the Middle East, has announced that it will soon be launching a new SMS and MMS service that will give subscribers daily updates and latest news about US President Barack Obama and his presidency.

The new service, which will be officially launched in the last week of February 2009, will be initially offered to subscribers in Jordan, Bahrain and Nigeria and will later be made available to the rest of the Middle East region.

Subscribers to this new service will be receiving up to two daily SMS messages containing news headlines about the new American president. The new service also offers three MMS messages per week featuring related photo releases covering various aspects of the Obama presidency, including press conferences, state visits and new policy decisions. Info2cell.com also revealed that content for the new service will be sourced from leading international news agencies.

To subscribe to this new service, interested subscribers can text in the following short codes: for the SMS service, customers of Orange can send an SMS with the message 'Sub Obama' to 93352 and 'Sub MObama' to 93353 for the MMS service; likewise Zain BH customers can send messages with 'Sub Obama' to 77466 and 'Sub MObama' to 77467; and customers from Etisalat Nigeria can send messages with 'Obama' and 'MObama' to 5800.
