The Bank of New York Mellon hosts the Emirates Bankers' Forum

The Bank of New York Mellon, represented by Mr. Robert Kelly, its Chairman and CEO, hosted the Emirates Bankers' Forum which is a monthly gathering organized by Mr. Sulaiman Al Mazroui, President of the Emirates Bankers' Forum and General Manager Marketing and Corporate Communications, Emirates NBD.
More than 150 senior professionals representing various local, regional and international banking and finance institutions attended this event.
Mr. Sulaiman Al Mazroui, thanked H.E. Sultan bin Nasser Al Suwaidi for gracing the gathering with his presence and the Bank of New York Mellon for hosting this event in the Capital of the UAE and said, "This months' gathering is of major importance due to the exceptional line up of confirmed guests and speakers. I would like to take this opportunity to renew the Forum's commitment to further its efforts in supporting the banking and finance industry by promoting key initiatives and providing an ideal platform for knowledge and expertise exchange."
Mr Bob Kelly, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of The Bank of New York Mellon said, "On behalf of The Bank of New York Mellon, I am very pleased to be hosting the Emirates Banker's Forum, and honoured to welcome H.E. Sultan bin Nasser Al Suwaidi. The Emirates Bankers' Forum has evolved over the years to become a forum which provides an excellent networking experience and an opportunity to exchange views and expertise between bankers in the UAE.

About the UAE Banker's Forum:The UAE Bankers' Forum is a monthly gathering presided by Mr. Suleiman Al Mazroui, for the veterans of the local and regional banking and finance industry. The gathering has evolved over the years to become a forum which provides an excellent networking experience and an opportunity to exchange views and expertise. As part of the continuous development efforts of the forum, the Corporate Governance Award has recently been launched in cooperation with Hawkamah Institute for Corporate Governance.
The UAE Banker's Forum is held at the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) and always hosts a guest speaker who addresses the assembly about issues relating to trade, economy, banking and Finance. Some of the key speakers at the forum were, H.E. Shaikha Lubna Al Qassimi - UAE Minister of Foreign Trade, H.E. Sultan Bin Nasser Al Suwaidi, and Governor of the UAE Central Bank.
