Mrs. Maliha Al-Ayyar, General Manager of HRD at Burgan Bank, described the program by saying:
"Burgan Bank truly believes in the significance of training and rehabilitation of national cadre at various management levels to improve service quality in the public and private sectors. Adherence to this philosophy is realized in the implementation of a special training and rehabilitation program dedicated to Kuwaiti public servants in an effort to unlock their potentials and maximize the impact of their positive contribution and input".
Through this unique training program, Burgan Bank will combine forces and expertise with the reputable American University of Kuwait (AUK) to train 20 candidates who will constitute the first group of trainees in this program. This ground-breaking and innovative training program will start in March 2009 for a three-month period. It will offer highly specialized modules in English Language, computer, customer service, and marketing and communication skills. To sign up, candidates must go through pre-testing and evaluation to define their skill level for specifying training needs.
This initiative is yet another example of Burgan Bank's adherence to CSR principles and its genuine commitment to community development and training and development of Kuwaiti cadre in various aspects.
