The Watani Family Camps continues its cultural activities

Traditional arts and reenactments of customary wool knitting and falconry are all part of the enjoyment at the Watani Family Camps which continue to offer an insight into the UAE's social practices and celebrations until the 14th of March 2009.
Other unique highlights include an interactive seminar on the 'Palm Tree and its benefits', taking place at 6.30pm on Friday the 20th of February at the Watani Camp ground in University Campus Street in Dubai, in front of the Al Warqaa 4 area.

Watani Program was launched on December 2, 2005 under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to promote the UAE's national identity and practices of good citizenship within the UAE's diverse and multicultural society. The program organizes and implements various educational, entertainment, and media activities that are directed to the youth, women and children.
