Saudi shares fall

Led by Saudi Basic Industries Corp.(Sabic), Saudi Arabian shares fell after stock markets around the world slumped. Sabic, dropped 4.1% to a low of 44 riyals. The Tadawul All Share Index retreated 2.1% to 4,675.66 in Riyadh. The measure has lost 2.7% this year after losing more than half its value in 2008 as oil prices dropped. Etihad Etisalat dropped 1.4% to 34.4 riyals.
