United Eastern Medical forms joint venture with Dr. Moopen's Group

The high profile joint venture will deliver the combined management skills, operational expertise and financial backing of two of the most recognized and accomplished names in healthcare in the UAE.

Alliance Medical will focus on ownership and management of hospitals and healthcare facilities catering to a diverse clientele within Abu Dhabi's flourishing healthcare market.

Majd Abu Zant, Business Development Manager of UEM, stated:

One of the projects Alliance Medical will be involved in is a 60 bed boutique specialty hospital in Abu Dhabi, which will offer international standard patient care. Alliance Medical will also establish an integrated healthcare delivery system catering to workers at various central and remote-site locations including construction sites, industrial plants, workers' accommodations and off-shore rigs.

This health system will be comprised of a modern 50 bed general hospital located in one of the largest worker's accommodations in the UAE (Mafraq, Abu Dhabi), serving a community of over 65,000 workers, in addition to a network of clinics delivering high standard urgent care services throughout Abu Dhabi.
