Fonenet appointed as distributor for ThurayaIP

With a strong distribution network, Fonenet will be targeting key market segments such as oil and gas operations and NGOs offices, as well as private customers.

The move follows the signing of a commercial partnership between Thuraya, a world leading mobile satellite operator, and Fonenet last week, according to which the latter has become one of Thuraya's key international distributors.

ThurayaIP, introduced mid of last year, has advanced features making it an ideal communication partner. Sleekly designed with a compact A-5 size and transmission speed upto 444 Kbps, it also has the most superior video streaming capacity in the market that functions at a speed of 384 Kbps.
