The award for "Best Green Product, Service, or Corporate Policy" recognizes a manufacturer for a green product or practice that best saves energy or natural resources or a service or corporate policy/strategy, which promotes environmentally/planet friendly practices such as recycling programs, reduced packaging, technologies to reduce travel and/or supports or promotes state or federal legislation (i.e. Leeds).

The "D-Link Green Program" caught the attention of the expert panel and praised the global leader in networking solutions for its "commitment to saving the world's environment" and its "partnership with the U.S. government's Energy Star program".
