Live to produce the opening ceremony for IDEX 2009 using HD technology

Live, Abu Dhabi Media Company's wholly-owned outside broadcast (OB) subsidiary, is broadcasting the opening ceremony for the International Defense Exhibition and Conference (IDEX), one of the world's largest exhibitions showcasing systems and equipment and services for all three defense environments, land, sea and air.

IDEX is held under the patronage of HH Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE and Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces. IDEX 2009 is taking place at Adnec from 22-26 February 2009.

The production plan, including the number and distribution of cameras, has been laid out in cooperation with the organizers. Production will apply best international practices in the field and latest HD technology.
