The One Million Dirham mega prize promotion helped attract tens of thousands of eager shoppers to the mall during DSF, all hoping to spend and win the jackpot prize on offer that was the biggest by any shopping mall in the Emirate.

The Mall of the Emirates DSF promotion asked customers who spend specific sum to enter a draw for a grand one million dirham prize. The lucky winner, a Dubai resident, was presented with his unexpected windfall at the DSF closing ceremony on 15th February 2009.

Fuad Mansoor Sharaf, Vice President, Mall of the Emirates, said:
"Since 2007 we have given out grand prizes to winners of DSF promotions, including a two bedroom apartment and one million Dirhams, but this year the real winner is Mall of the Emirates. We are thrilled with this award as it supports the role we play in giving our visitors the best experience possible."
