MSFNCA celebrates third anniversary and honours staff

His Excellency Tareq Lootah, Director General of the Ministry of State for Federal National Council Affairs (MSFNCA), congratulated the efforts of the Ministry's staff at a gala ceremony held to celebrate the third anniversary of the Ministry.

He said that the Ministry's employees are role models for government employees and have played a key role in achieving organisational goals and successfully implementing the various initiatives launched by the Ministry in 2008.

At the ceremony, Mr Lootah honoured Aisha Al Zaabi as the best employee for 2008, and also felicitated several staff members for their outstanding work and creative suggestions that helped further improve the work environment at the Ministry. They include: Fatima Al Marzouki who designed the logo of "Say and Do" programme; Firas Al Samkari for developing IT programmes at the Ministry, and Mohammed Al Saigal for his idea on recycling waste.

Mr. Lootah said that the hard work and dedication of the employees contributed to meeting the challenges faced by the Ministry, especially in its formative years. He said the major challenge was establishing the Ministry and achieving its goals, and holding the first-ever UAE elections successfully and smoothly.

Other staff members who were honoured include: Kamal Mahmoud and Dunia Al Kuthairi, who received appreciation certificates for effective human resources strategies, and Ayman Al Wadood Twakol and Iyad Al Halawani for enhancing the efficiency of the financial practices.
