Centrepoint hosts 'Donate Blood, Save Life' drive

Reiterating its commitment towards the Kuwaiti society, Centrepoint the leading retailer in Kuwait recently hosted a blood donation drive in association with Indian Doctors Forum (Kuwait) at its premises in Salmiya.

More than 120 volunteers comprising Centrepoint Staff, Patrons & Indian Doctors Forum members took time off from their daily routines to donate blood to the Kuwait Central Blood Bank (KCBB).

Mr. Sumit Gue, General Manager, Centrepoint Kuwait, said:
"This activity is in line with our organizations support of local social causes. Corporate Social Responsibility takes many forms and donating blood is a simple and valuable way of contributing to the welfare of the local community."


"Save a drop of blood and you save a human life, it is said, and we believe in this," he added, "Our management and staff were pleased to be part of this noble cause. We look forward to many more such campaigns where we can reinforce our association to the local community," further concluded Gue.

The Landmark Group has previously participated in a number of similar initiatives related to electricity saving, beach cleaning, and other social and educational causes.
