- United Arab Emirates: Sunday, February 22 - 2009 at 16:01
- PRESS RELEASE
Further to the invitation of Pr. Georges Molinie, President of Paris-Sorbonne University, PSUAD management team visited Paris last week.
These days of discussion and exchange with the Paris-Sorbonne presidency and with the Strategic Committee members of Paris-Sorbonne have reinforced the French-Emirati tandem.
Key development projects for the coming 5 years have been the core issues discussed, and more especially the venture of enriching the number of Masters Programs offered.
Pr Jean Yves de Cara, Administrative Director and Pr. Xavier Galmiche, Academic Director, both highlighted their commitment to offering to the UAE the knowledge and experience of their respective institutions in this field.
A qualitative higher education is a strategic investment for the young UAE Nationals, said the UAE members of the delegation; Dr. Mohammed Al Shehhi, Deputy Administrative Director and Dr. Mohamed Al Aboodi, Deputy Academic Director. At the time when general economic downturn sharpens economic constraints, a Master Degree is a decisive asset for all.
Details on the planned new curriculum will be given during PSUAD Open Day which is to be held on March 3rd and 4th, 2009.
