  • PRESS RELEASE

Internationally ranked Queen's School of Business has drawn response from as far afield as Nigeria and Saudi Arabia for its three-day UAE-based program entitled 'Aligning Marketing and Sales'.

The program combined the four cornerstones to sales and marketing success - building an effective sales strategy, understanding the key concepts of marketing, effective marketing tools and techniques, and leading a high-performance sales team.

The program prompted praise from participants, including Zuhair Al Mahfoudh, sales and service manager with the Saudi British Bank in Saudi Arabia, who said:
"This course has added a whole new level of happiness and excitement to my life. I never imagined I could love marketing and sales courses so much but it happened with QSB."

Also from KSA Mazen Abdul Ghani El Danab, division manager of direct distribution, Al Munajem, commented: "The course is very informative and the instructor has a very strong background in marketing and sales. It is really brilliant to align sales and marketing in one course."

Seun Jaiyesimi, managing director of SSA Realities in Nigeria, said:
"It is an eye opener and it satisfies the big need for sales related knowledge material. Usually there's a competition between sales and marketing but we discovered that it is very important that they go together hand in hand."

Queen's is Canada's premier business school and since October 2007 has been presenting intensive training to UAE executives in sales management, strategy, marketing, operational leadership, human resources, governance, and finance.
Courses in Dubai are presented in partnership with Dubai International Financial Center and in Oman with the College of Banking and Financial Studies in Muscat.

The new alignment program was taught by award-winning members of Queen's School of Business faculty and was designed to accelerate participants' personal development, while benefiting their companies, sectors, and the regional economy on a larger scale.
Queen's School of Business already provides business education direct to UAE companies as well as to government departments and the nation's Central Bank.
